Summer Shopping Haul + Giveaway Winner

Hi everyone!

First of all, I'm sorry that I haven't been around lately. I try to post twice a week, and I haven't done that in the last fortnight, but it's nice to be back and blogging again!

To get back into the swing of things, here's a haul post with some new things I've picked up for summer while I've been Christmas shopping. Does anyone else find they end up buying things for themselves when they Christmas shop? -_-' one thing here, one thing there...

Also, later in the post I have a very exciting announcement... the name of the person who won the ELF Little Black Beauty Book Giveaway!

On to the haul...

Stud Chambray Shirt - Dotti ($49.95)
I love wearing sleeveless shirts in the summer, and I've wanted a chambray shirt for a while, so I thought this studded one would be a good addition to my summer wardrobe. Plus it's a long shirt, so I can tuck it into shorts - and tops tucked into high-waisted shorts is pretty much my typical summer outfit!

Lilac Dip Dye Shorts - Sportsgirl ($24.95 on sale)
I'm a big fan of pastel colours, and since I'd just ombre-fied my hair, I was really drawn to these. They're a good length and end just below the butt, and what can I say, a girl can never have too many pairs of shorts in the summer!

Mirror Floral Kimono - Dotti ($49.95)
I like to wear cardigans over my outfits to keep warm, but that isn't really an option in the warmer weather. So I really love this kimono - it's a light cover-up, and perfect for when the temperature starts to cool off in the evenings. And how pretty is the pattern!

Hair Chalk Set - Urban Outfitters ($14)
Before I decided to get blond balayage done to my hair, I was toying with the idea of going lilac ombre for my hair. But I figured that was too high-maitenance, so I went with blonde and fulfilled my need for colourful locks with this hair chalk set! It has a rainbow of colours, so I can pretty much change my hair colour whenever I want for one night!

Pout About It Lipstick in "Pretty Please" - Sportsgirl ($9.95)
I've been on the hunt for a nude lipstick colour that I can wear everyday that matched the colour of my lips (you know, for those days that you might be a bit chapped in the lip area and need a cover-up). So I was stoked to find this colour at Sportsgirl was my meant-to-be lippy! It matches my lips perfectly, and has a lovely creme finish.

Revlon Lip Butter in "Red Velvet" - KMart ($21.95)
I've heard really good things about the Revlon lip butters, especially the "Red Velvet" shade, and I was not disappointed! It's a gorgeous deep red, almost a blood red, but it goes on sheer, so you can wear it as a tint or a stain, or build it up to full colour! I keep it in my bag pretty much all the time because it's so versatile.

Innoxa Summer Matte Collection Lipstick in "Watermelon" - Myer ($11.95)
I really like the formulations of the Innoxa lipsticks, so I wanted to try this colour for summer. It's a red toned orange shade, which can be a bit in your face. I'd wear it full blast for a party, but dab it onto my lips with my finger for during the day.

Sorbet Dream Candles in "Dragonfruit & Vanilla Bean" and "Snowberry and Fuchsia Delight" - Sportsgirl ($4.95 on sale)
I've really been into burning candles lately - I just revamped my bedroom so it's a much calmer space (it used to have walls covered top to bottom in pictures) and I think candles are a nice touch. Both scents are super lovely, but my fave is the Snowberry. It's sweet, but not overpowering, and reminds me of summer cocktails!

Now for the exciting bit...
